Beverley Agricultural Society Inc

Location: Beverley Showgrounds, Forrest St, Beverley, WA 6304

We are a volunteer organization in the community of Beverley which hosts an annual agricultural show for the community of Beverley and surrounding districts. We encourage visitors from Perth to join us for the day to experience a snippet of country life.

The Show:
Show Day is held each year in August. It continues to grow and we attract a large number of attendees, participants and stall holders.

The Balkuling Pony Club hosts a day of unofficial equestrian events plus a breed competition. This is a very popular event in the equestrian calendar and culminates the in the ever popular Horses vs Humans race.

This is one of the few opportunities for those under the age of 21 to qualify for the parading and judging competitions at the Perth Royal Show.
Winners of the Perth competitions then go on to compete at the national competition.
The cattle judging competitions in an interbreed competition, judged by a recognised cattle judge, and the ideal opportunity for a practice run for any cattle and their ownerrs prior to the Perth Royal Show, being only 4 week prior.

This year, we are moving away from traditional poultry show judging and conducting a ‘People’s Choice’ competition. This will allow local adults and children to show their beloved pets plus local breeders to show and sell their poultry.

Exhibition Shed
A huge display of entries can be found in the exhibitions shed – cookery, photography, art, handicrafts, needlework, preserves and home produce, flowers, fruit and veg, produce and juniors.
