Bindoon Bakehaus & Cafe

Located in the Chittering Valley, the famous award-winning Bindoon Bakhaus and Café is renowned for its freshly baked breads, first class quality service, sensory enriched products and funky vibe. Seating caters for up to 125 people with both open and intimate seating in the dining, alfresco, lounge and “breakfast” bar areas. The “Kiddies’ Bakery” is a winner, allowing parents to relax while the kids play at baking.

We also provide a catering service which can be booked for functions. The Bakehaus has a range of boutique gifts and locally-made produce available.

Bakehaus Cuisine
All products are made from scratch on premises by our fully trained pastry chefs and bakers who have combined experience of over 190 years. For product lists refer to Cuisine Menu.

Up to twenty five bread varieties are baked on the premises daily. In addition to the standard white, wholemeal and multigrain breads we have a range of specialty breads including sunflower walnut rye, fruit loaf, German rye and pumpkin bread

The savoury menu is extensive with over ninety options to choose from, including bakery favourites such as pies, sausage rolls, baguettes, savoury bakes and frittatas. Bindoon Estate Wines features in our gourmet pie range

‘Sweet tooth’s are left spoilt for choice with over seventy-five items to select from. Our signature cakes include the Bindoon Orange Cake and Chocolate Whisky Mudcake. Other popular choices include the mille-fueille (French vanilla slice), cheesecakes and an assortment of tarts and fresh cream pastries.

We also cater for gluten-free and vegetarian customers with a range of options to choose from. Seasonal items such as soups and salads are periodically available.

Hours: We are open seven days a week from 7am to 5pm and most public holidays from 8am to 4pm.
