This workshop will provide the information needed to manage a variety of endemic and notifiable sheep diseases with a specific focus on Ovine Johnes disease and footrot in sheep. The workshop contains a series of presentations and a practical session so participants can observe disease symptoms and their implications for production efficiencies. Subjects covered during the workshop include: •subsidised disease investigations; •biosecurity to protect the business; •vaccine options; and •diseases that impact the bottom line. Presentations are given by DAFWA vets and expert staff, private vets and industry specialists. The workshops are a partnership initiative to improve the understanding of sheep related diseases.
